I am currently enrolled at APSU to receive my BFA with a focus in two-dimensional design and hoping to get my masters. My art is mostly traditional drawings, but I am able to use digital media and sculpt as well. When I am not making art for classes, I am working on my own comic, which is a series of short panel works about my characters and their daily lives. I attempt to be active on all my social media accounts, so it should not be difficult to contact me. Send me a note or a message on tumblr and I will try my hardest to answer you quickly and in the best way possible.

What is something about other artists do that you find annoying? Whether it is a certain style or just something in the art community that bothers you?

For me, I cannot stand more experiences artists talking down to upcoming/novice artists. Everyone starts somewhere and I do not think it is nice or even necessary to talk down to someone. I mean, no one is born drawing, designing characters, writing stories, making music, or anything of that nature, so I don't understand why there are some people in the art community who feel the need to be rude rather than helpful. It is hard enough to feel good about your art when you first start to draw, because you are constantly comparing yourself to others. I think the rule about treating others how you would like the be treated should come into play here.

And I know this seems really passive, but I see it no matter what website (even in my classes) that I go to! And it is seems like that inflated ego always comes back to haunt them. Sometimes they don't take the teacher's advice because they feel like their system is already good and then the very people they made fun of surpass them. And I've learned so many cool things for upcoming artists, ways of drawing or building a structure that I would have never thought of. There is something to be learned from everyone and acting like you are better does not make it true.

But that is just an example of something that could bother you too. I would be interested in hearing  your thoughts though.

And please don't forget to check out my tumblr! I post some art on there that I don't post on dA if that sweetens the deal for you any.
